Lotune is a small boutique of Basque brands in Bilbao's old town. Its name in Basque means "union, coming together". In 2019, women from four different artisan workshops joined forces in this project, each bringing her own vision and experience.

Kiribiltxo ("little spiral" in Basque) is a jewellery brand founded in 2004 by Olaia Fernández (she was only 15 at the time). In her Bilbao workshop, she experiments with brass, aluminium and silver in a constant search for a unique style. Her original, handmade pieces are produced in small batches and are therefore one of a kind.

Rosalía Fernández represents the Palopalú project — a compound word from Riojan and Cantabrian dialects that can be translated as "Stick Stick". Palopalú creates decorative wooden objects as well as toys and products for children, designed in collaboration with educators and psychologists to teach, encourage free play and creativity in young children.

Lágrimas de cocodrilo sews cheerful and colourful children's clothing infused with irony and fantasy. When the brand's future founder, Aida Sánchez, became a mother, she faced a problem: the children's clothing market was rigidly divided into pink for girls (with glitter and bows) and blue for boys. She wasn't satisfied with this, so she decided to create unisex clothing — without gender marking, with imaginative designs and the same colours for everyone. In addition to children's clothing, Lágrimas de cocodrilo offers a collection for adults — the same prints, the same colours, so parents can share this experience with their children.

Susana Santos, founder of the eponymous bag and accessories brand, spent 16 years working for a telecommunications company. Her work involved constant business trips, which she wrote about on her blog "Con S de Su" — a kind of travel diary. One day in a fabric shop in Madrid, she saw beautiful printed fabrics for bags — bought them and started sewing. Each of her bags is unique, and Susana uses lightweight technical fabrics of the latest generation as material.

The project's participants take turns in the shop every day, so if you want to meet each one — you'll need to spend at least four days in Bilbao. But it's worth it.
