Salvador Bachiller is a Madrid-based brand that has turned its stores into gardens and shopping into an experience.

The story of Salvador Bachiller began in the 1940s with a small shop selling travel accessories. Today, the brand’s collections include women’s and men’s handbags, wallets, suitcases, gloves, belts, tableware and home goods.

What truly makes Salvador Bachiller stand out are its stores. The brand has transformed its retail spaces into atmospheric places where shopping blends naturally with gastronomy. Each boutique — five of them across Madrid — hides either a tea room, a lunch bar or a restaurant with its own interior design, mood and story.

The most famous location is The Secret Garden on Calle Montera, just steps from Gran Vía. Across four floors you’ll find a shop, a café, a cozy terrace and a rooftop restaurant. A bit further along Gran Vía, near Plaza de España, there’s another store with a tropical-style restaurant. The two-storey boutique on Calle Velázquez houses the Secret Corner gastro-bar, while under the shop on Calle Alcalá you’ll find a small café. Another enchanting spot is Bloom, on Calle de Alberto Aguilera — designed as a blooming garden, with a covered terrace, garden tables, swings and a restaurant draped in cherry blossoms.

Salvador Bachiller is a self-contained lifestyle world where tradition meets imagination under one roof. Here you can buy a handbag, a playful accessory or beautiful tableware, have lunch under wisteria, enjoy a cocktail and leave feeling as if you’ve stepped into another world.
