Lola Casademunt

This story began in 1981 in the small Catalan town of Cardedeu, not far from Barcelona. Lola Casademunt, a young widow with four children, started sewing velvet bows and headbands and selling them in Barcelona. She had a natural artistic eye, and her accessories quickly found their audience.

Soon the family business was joined by Lola’s daughter, nineteen-year-old Maite. She began selling her mother’s pieces first in Marbella, then in Madrid — and from there they spread across the country.

Maite loved the charming accessories her mother created, but she felt something was missing. She wanted to build a fashion line and design a complete collection that could be shown on a runway. And that dream came true.

Since 2018, Maite has been responsible for the creative direction of Lola Casademunt. The brand’s range includes dresses, jackets, knitwear, shoes, and accessories that are easy to combine into a clear, wearable look. Strong colour and animal prints run through the collections. This is not just an aesthetic choice: Lola Casademunt sees its mission as giving modern, active women what they call a “confidence outfit”.

Today, the brand works with two lines: the everyday LOLA CASADEMUNT and the more refined LOLA CASADEMUNT BY MAITE.
