Gallery 1250

Gallery 1250 is located in the centre of Belgrade, in Čumićevo sokače — a pedestrian passage densely populated by local designers, artists and craftspeople. The space works both as a gallery and a boutique, entirely dedicated to contemporary ceramics and porcelain.

The gallery was created as a shared workspace for graduates of the Belgrade Faculty of Applied Arts. All the artists represented here work professionally with ceramics, and the gallery’s name refers to 1250 degrees Celsius — the firing temperature at which clay gains its strength.

Gallery 1250 presents the work of six artists.

Ivana Špoljarić finds inspiration in the urban environment — from buildings and parks to the constantly changing city sky. She creates porcelain tableware, vases and jewellery in an abstract style.

Igor Stangliczky works with ceramic design, digital graphics and sound art. Here you will find his porcelain cups, shot glasses, platters, plates and bowls with a strong, confident design language.

Marija Seman experiments with form and volume. Her pieces often balance on the edge between functional tableware and small-scale sculpture.

Miona Stefanović has a background in watercolour painting, and this clearly shows in her ceramics — delicately painted tableware, jewellery, lamps, mini sculptures and abstract compositions.

Bojana Jokmanović explores line, form and space. The porcelain tableware and jewellery she creates move beyond pure functionality and become art objects.

Iva Brkić is known for her perfectly imperfect cups, curved teapots, porcelain rings, whimsical sculptures and floral motifs. Her work is defined by refined details, gilded elements, and thin, asymmetrical forms.
