If your journey takes you through Southern Norway, don’t miss this hidden gem between the towns of Stavern and Helgeroa. Tucked among fields and forests, Galleri Askehagen — “The Ash Garden” — is a peaceful retreat for lovers of craft and nature.

Jeweler Annegi Eide creates pieces using local stone, silver, and reindeer antlers. In the neighboring house, you’ll find works by renowned Norwegian photographer Glenn Kristian Kristiansen. And outside, there’s a blooming perennial garden where you can wander — or ask for gardening tips from the owners.
