Wanderlust

Wanderlust is a brand and boutique created by Francesca Durante. Born in Italy, Francesca caught the travel bug early in life. Eventually, her journey led her to Tulum, back when it was still a hidden paradise. There she met people from all over the world: art dealers and celebrities, shamans, bohemian artists and designers. What united them all was one thing. Settling in Tulum, they became Tuluminati, people who share a distinct way of life known as tulumismo.

The Wanderlust boutique is located on Tulum’s only beach road, running alongside hotels and beach clubs, close to other local brands. The collection is designed for everyday wear in a hot climate: flowing dresses and kaftans made from natural fabrics, along with simple, lightweight jewelry and accessories. Necklaces, bracelets, belts and body chains, including pieces with vintage coins, are all part of the assortment. Everything is handmade in Mexico in collaboration with local artisans.

In line with the spirit of tulumismo, Wanderlust pieces are not divided into “special occasion” and “everyday” items. These are clothes and accessories meant to be worn daily, designed to work effortlessly together. You may walk in as a regular tourist in shorts and a tank top, and walk out as a true Tuluminati, ready to discover all the secrets of Tulum.
