La Troupe

La Troupe boutique is a place where women’s and men’s clothing and home pieces share the same space and feel as if they have always belonged together. La Troupe was created by three friends from Argentina who live and work in Mexico. They refer to themselves as sisters and give the brand a distinctly personal tone. What matters to them is how and by whom a piece is made, with respect for materials, craftsmanship and handwork.

La Troupe clothing focuses on everyday pieces for a warm climate: relaxed shirts, lightweight trousers, tunics and loose layers made from linen and cotton, designed to be worn comfortably on a daily basis.

The home line includes cushions, bedspreads and throws with embroidery and hand-finished details. These are not souvenir items but solid, tactile pieces made to last and to be used over time.

La Troupe boutique is located alongside other local brands on Tulum’s beach road, which runs between the fences of beachfront hotels and beach clubs. Like other local projects, La Troupe exists within the idea of tulumismo: understated luxury, attention to physical comfort and to the things that surround you every day. There is, however, one important difference.

La Troupe is not distinguished by materials or handcraft, which are common across Tulum. Its difference lies in the scale of choice. It is one of the few places on the beach road where women’s and men’s clothing and a full home line come together in a single store.
