180º

Roma Norte in Mexico City has long been a magnet for independent designers, and 180º is one of its most recognizable addresses. It is both a shop and a workshop under one roof: men’s and women’s clothing, jewelry, home objects, and a curated selection of local brands, from well-established names to very new ones.

180º also develops three in-house lines. 180 Degrees is the core collection, where every piece is designed and made in the workshop located directly above the shop. 180° Outwear focuses on unisex T-shirts for adults and children, with new prints appearing on a regular basis. Urban Legend is a nostalgic line inspired by the symbols and graphic language of the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City.

Very few items at 180º are repeated. Collections are produced in small batches and change quickly, and many pieces exist in only a handful of copies, making them unlikely to turn up elsewhere.

That is why a visit here often ends with an unexpected find: you leave with an object or a piece of clothing you had not been looking for, but that caught your attention the moment you saw it. These discoveries are never planned in advance, and that is exactly what makes them so satisfying.
