SEFFARRUGIA

Stephanie Farrugia is a Maltese artist and designer who founded her brand SEFFARRUGIA in 2012. She grew up in a family surrounded by craft — seamstresses, fabric retailers and woodworkers. After studying at the London College of Fashion and Ravensbourne University, she returned to Malta with a small capsule of silk accessories. Over time, the project evolved into a full brand offering scarves, headbands, ties, unisex wraps and home items.

SEFFARRUGIA follows the principles of slow fashion and local production. All pieces are made in limited quantities using natural fabrics — silk, linen and cotton.

Since 2018, the brand’s atelier and boutique have been based in the historic centre of Rabat, near the walls of Mdina, in an area once known as the Old Market. Here you can see the work in progress, meet the designer, explore the collections and choose a piece made to be worn and kept for years.
