Ercole Moretti
✩✩✩-✩✩✩✩
Ercole Moretti is a family-run glassmaking workshop based on the Venetian island of Murano since 1911.
Generations ago, the Moretti family developed a unique — and still secret — technique for polishing glass beads. Today, the third generation works with top Italian designers to create extraordinary Murano glass jewelry, tableware, and interior pieces.
Fashion house Fendi used Moretti beads to craft an exclusive edition of its iconic Baguette bag, and Dolce & Gabbana featured Moretti jewelry in their D&G Men Spring-Summer 2022 collection.
The Ercole Moretti workshop rarely opens to the public, but you can find their unique creations at Bottega Cini — a concept store dedicated to Venetian artisans, located on the famous Dorsoduro Museum Mile, just steps from The Gallerie dell'Accademia, Palazzo Cini, and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection.
