Primavera

Primavera is a multi-brand store dedicated entirely to Colombian designers and makers.

Its story started in 2016, and somewhat by accident. Luz Estela and her son Andrés had a small business selling houseplants and succulents. When a space came up on Vía Primavera - a quiet, shady street in El Poblado - it was clearly too big for plants alone. So they invited other local entrepreneurs to join. The store opened with 35 brands; today there are around eighty.

Primavera has four locations in the city, but we recommend the flagship. Its defining feature is a terrace café serving specialty coffee and desserts - so while one of you shops, the other can sit comfortably with a cup instead of waiting by the door.

And there's no shortage of things to shop for: women's clothing - dresses, shirts, t-shirts, skirts, trousers, jeans, swimwear, pyjamas, lingerie; menswear - t-shirts, shorts, sweatpants, shirts; footwear - boots and trainers; bags and backpacks; jewellery - necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets; accessories - sunglasses, watches, enamel pins.

There's also a dedicated personal care section: haircare, body products, cosmetics, soap, perfume.

And of course Maticas, the section that started it all: plants, terrariums, ceramics, concrete objects, candles.

The flagship sits in the relaxed and stylish Vía Primavera district, where many young designers set up shop years ago and which today is considered the city's main hub for independent fashion.
